the next comic will feature even more over-the-top blurs that dont give any substance at all

ok time for my real crit

effects are more than just using gaussian blur 50 million times on the object, try using less blur and adding layer effects or changing brightness & contrast to achieve nice looking fx
use motion blur sometime so we can actually tell where the characters are actually going it actually helps when telling what the hell is going on
when adding sound effects into the comic, place them near their source at an apropiate size
get fonts that didnt just come on your computer if youre serious about making comics

this part is uh
not good
use less blur
what is that yellow square for it makes literally no sense at all
the eye doesnt really fit if you were gonna draw that you shouldve put more effort into it imo, or just zoomed in more

there you go that is my crit thank you and goodnight

@broblade12: I'ld suggest trying GIMP instead. It's easier to use than

Reply Nick Cypher The Flames, January 26th, 2015, 7:19 pm

@Chaos Master: I'd disagree, as PdN ( Paint.Net ) can be just as adequately useful as GIMP

Reply Chaos Master, January 26th, 2015, 7:31 pm

@Nick Cypher The Flames: Ah, but GIMP is more user friendly than PdN.

Reply Dub_L_Eon, January 27th, 2015, 9:57 am

@Chaos Master: TBH, I find GIMP kinda confusing. Only kinda though. PDN is more user friendly in my opinion.

Reply GokentoPower, January 27th, 2015, 10:03 am

@Dub_L_Eon: But GIMP and both don't work here...

Reply Divine Knight, January 27th, 2015, 10:35 am

@Dub_L_Eon: As a new person who has used GIMP before, I can agree. Not only was it confusing, but also not user friendly. I had to use it once for school to shade 3-D objects like a sphere and pyramid, and a simple job that could have taken me 15-30 minutes, maybe even an hour tops, took me about 3 to 5 hours because the tools and the entire program was confusing, glitched, and also would do the exact opposite of what I was trying to do. And even when I thought I had figured it out, it would still do the wrong thing.

I tried to be neutral and see how GIMP was, but after my first use I could tell that this program is horrible unless you've had like, at least 2 years of experience with it, and even then, it still has issues. It is in no way user friendly unless you are an absolute master with it.
